Air cleaner

The use of air filters with blocked filter elements will not only reduce engine output, but also increase fuel consumption and black smoke, and even make the turbocharger leak oil.

Therefore, air filters should be maintained in accordance with the following methods.

Replacement of filter element

1, release the 3 bayonets and remove the cover of the air filter.

3, wipe the dust on the inside of the air cleaner shell, the outer cover and the surface of the gasket.

4, wipe the dust on the drain valve at the bottom of the air cleaner.

1, dilute the filter cleanser with water, immerse the filter element in the cleaning fluid for about 20 minutes.

2, remove the filter cartridge and flush it with running water. Water pressure should not exceed 280 pa.

3, when the cleaned filter element is placed in a well ventilated area, the fan can be used when drying the filter element. However, no compressed air or usable fire can be used to shorten drying time. The natural drying of filter elements usually takes two or three days. Therefore, it is better to use spare filter cartridge.
